About Us
Federation began at the end of 2000, with our first collection landing in stores in 2001.
From the beginning, we've designed both mens and womenswear, building a distinctive New Zealand label around original design, art, graphics and pieces made to be worn.

For 25 years, Federation has remained independently owned and designed in New Zealand.
The label has continued to evolve across menswear and womenswear, always with its own point of view. Street influences remain part of our DNA, but Federation has never sat neatly in one category, and we like it that way.

ART At The CORE
Original artwork and illustration have been woven through Federation collections from the beginning.
Jenny Joblin’s artwork and hand-drawn graphics have become signatures of the label, with her creative work extending beyond clothing into independent exhibitions and original art.

FROM NEW ZEALAND TO THE WORLD.
An early New Zealand Fashion Week show led to Federation being picked up by Selfridges, followed by distribution throughout Australia, Europe and the United States.
Today, we’re proudly focused on New Zealand for our wholesale business, while our website connects us directly with customers here and around the world.

Federation remains independently owned by Jenny Joblin and Ben Dundas, with the next generation now part of the story too.
Jenny’s three children, Ryder, Monte and Dusty, have all grown up around Federation and are now involved in the business.
Over 25 years we’ve changed, experimented, rebuilt and evolved, without losing the things that made Federation Federation.
